I didn’t set out to become an author, but life—much like the sea—has a way of shifting your course. On this fine May 1st morning, I’m thrilled to announce the official release of the e-book version of Longevity Habit.
This book isn't just a collection of health tips; it’s a manifesto for a new way of living. It’s about building a community of like-minded, active solo seniors dedicated to living long, vibrant lives together.
The seeds for this project were planted during the pandemic, a time when we all started questioning what truly mattered. My original vision was a tiny house community in Florida, but I quickly learned that local regulations weren't exactly "innovation-friendly."
So, I did what any self-respecting explorer would do: I searched the world for something better.
I found my treasure in the Azores, a stunning archipelago in the middle of the Atlantic. It was here, while navigating my own health challenges and back pain, that I began linking routines together. Those daily wins evolved into what I now call the Longevity Habit System.
I’ll admit, writing a book to fill a 9-bedroom villa (the Golden Mermaid) is a bit of a "crazy" strategy. But as a renegade pirate who has never played by the traditional rules, it makes perfect sense to me.
Over the last eight months, this project has transformed me:
I want to show the world how to live a better, longer life within a supportive community.
I originally aimed for an April 15th release, but life intervened. I spent the last three months in Tampa closing the doors on Pirate Fashions, a business I ran for 16 years.
While I’m two weeks behind my original schedule, the timing is actually perfect. I am headed to the Global Expat Summit in Lisbon, where I’ll be giving a five-minute talk on May 7th. That date will also mark the official release of the Hardback version of the book!
Get Your Copy: You can purchase E-book on Amazon today and start building your own longevity habits. Whether you're a fellow "renegade" or just looking for a better way to age, I’m excited to have you on this journey with me.
